Massey Commons Community Housing
We are honoured to contribute to the Massey Commons Community Housing project in Cornwall, Ontario — an initiative that transforms the former Vincent Massey Public School into modern, safe, and dignified housing for individuals, couples, and families in need.
Our role in this project focuses on delivering a high-quality, durable, and visually welcoming exterior cladding. By combining technical excellence with community values, we aim to create an envelope that not only protects the building but also symbolizes stability and renewal for its future residents.
A key part of our work is neighbourhood integration. We are preserving elements of the original school’s character while giving the building a refreshed identity that harmonizes with the surrounding community. This balance between history and renewal ensures that the project feels rooted in place while still offering a modern appearance.
Equally important is the technical quality of the facade. Our exterior cladding solutions are designed to withstand weather, time, and heavy use, providing a sustainable investment in both the physical infrastructure and the people who will call Massey Commons home.
Finally, this project represents a shared vision. It reflects Cornwall’s commitment to balancing social responsibility with smart urban renewal, addressing the urgent need for transitional housing while revitalizing a long-vacant building.
By shaping the exterior cladding of Massey Commons, we are proud to contribute both to the physical durability of the building and the emotional resilience of the community it will serve.
